Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to CBCA. Our commitment to keeping sensitive health information private was the most important factor in creating our security infrastructure. Keep reading to understand who has access to secure information, our use of cookies, and what we do to constantly monitor our environment.

The CBCA website was created for use by plan sponsors, participants and providers who utilize the services of CBCA Administrators, Inc. The website is intended to be informational and transactional. This means it contains both public and private data. All access to individual or client specific accounts, claims, eligibility and/or benefit coverage will be through the use of verified usernames and passwords.

  • Plan Sponsors will be required to enter a username and password before accessing their
own secure data. Plan sponsors will have access to eligibility, aggregate claims and financial summaries, performance metrics, and other claim-related data in compliance with
    all HIPAA regulations.

  • Participants will be required to enter a username and password before accessing their own secure data. Participants will have access to Flexible Spending Account information, provider directories, medical/dental claim status, and eligibility information.

  • Providers who have been authenticated by our company will be allowed to access information on this website that they now receive in paper notification form and over the phone. They will be required to enter a username and password before accessing secure data. They will only be allowed to view data, including eligibility and claim status, for those patients who are in their care.

In order for us to support your preferred Internet browser, we will collect information about that browser to keep our own technology current.

In some areas of our site, we provide you with links to other organizations. Know that those organizations may have their own privacy policies, security and terms and conditions.

CBCA uses the technology of cookies on our website. These cookies are used only while your browser is open. These cookies are not permanent and expire once you end your session by logging out, closing all browser windows, or after 15 minutes of inactivity.

CBCA may from time to time post a satisfaction survey to random visitors to our site. We may ask what you like about our site and what suggestions you may have. Your responses are collected in aggregate form and are used to improve the content on our site. No personally identifiable information is used. Cookies are used to ensure that once you have responded to a survey, you are not asked to complete another one for at least six months. Any comments you would like to submit from the survey site will be sent to us over the Internet using Secure Socket Layer encryption technology.

While our system recognizes domain names and e-mail addresses by nature of your accessing our site, we do not place this information in any database. We may use this information in aggregate internally to ensure performance of our site, but will not disclose it to any third party.

CBCA is committed to providing a secure environment on our website. We will continue to protect private data as enhanced capabilities are added to our site. As we upgrade and enhance the services offered on our website, please check the privacy policy for updates.
