You

Voice Response service by calling the toll-free number on
the patient’s ID card.
Submitting
Claims Electronically
CBCA
encourages providers and others to submit claims via EDI as
part of our commitment to provide "best practice"
administrative services. EDI submission helps us ensure reliable,
accurate and secure transactions. To learn more about EDI
and CBCA email us at edi@cbca.com.
Otherwise, please note the following:
-
At
this time CBCA accepts medical claims only.
Announcements regarding dental or other claims will appear
on this page.
-
CBCA
accepts claims through Emdeon® (formerly WebMD®) Envoy Payer
ID #41170.
-
Network
providers should submit claims as specified by the Network
Administrator or to the address displayed on the patient's
Plan ID card.
About
EDI
Electronic
data interchange (EDI) is the computer-to-computer transfer
of document transactions or information between trading partners.
In the case of health care, it is the exchange of patient
encounter information to expedite the payment of health care
claims.
Many health
care providers, payers, billing services, practice management
vendors, and benefits administrators choose EDI as a fast,
affordable, and accurate means of automating claims payment.
Most
EDI users work through a claims clearinghouse to distribute
claims to multiple administrators. Please note at this time
CBCA accepts transmissions from WebMD. Announcements regarding
the addition of other clearinghouses will be displayed on
this page.
